You may see an unfamiliar transaction of 10p appear on your statement.
This is not an additional charge.
When you register for an auction or add a payment card to our system we check to see it is valid and working. To do this an amount of less the £1 (i.e. 10p) is used, however this is not actually debited from your account.
The card issuer would call it a deferred-void payment, which means the transaction is processed but the money is not taken.
Some card issuers show this on the statement but it will not be deducted and will just return to your bank account some days after.
You may wish to contact your card issuer to confirm these amounts were not actually debited.
